Why We Need Your Support On This Event?

  1. This is an event initiated voluntarily by the community, and the mandates and purposes are “1. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of Hong Kong as a Special Administrative Region of China, 2. To promote the understanding and relationship between Hong Kong and the communities and ethnic groups in Canada and 3. To foster arts and culture of Hong Kong in Canada”.
  2. Our target sponsors are those sponsors who are supportive to the return of Hong Kong to China as a special administrative region of China and for the “One country, two systems” resolution.  We are of the view that there will be many of these sponsoring individuals and companies coming from Hong Kong or China and are now in Vancouver who would like to show their support to this celebration event by their generous sponsorship.
  3. Despite some token sponsorship from the HKETO in Toronto to our events, it is not adequate to fund this featuring celebration event.
